As part of Barton Malow’s official 100th Anniversary celebrations earlier this month, talk radio host Paul W. Smith hosted a special edition of his midday show on WJR from Barton Malow’s Detroit office.
Various leaders at Barton Malow joined Paul during the two-hour segment, including President + CEO Ryan Maibach, Chief Community Officer Ben Maibach III, Chief Operating Officer Chuck Binkowski, Detroit Office Director Kara Martini, and more. Several special guests joined leadership throughout the show: Bedrock Senior Vice President Joe Guziewicz; Kresge Foundation CEO Rip Rapson; MRCC President Tom Lutz; and DTE Vice President Trevor Lauer. Bob Riney, CEO of Henry Ford Health, and Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan called in with well wishes.
For the bulk of the show, recorded live just steps away from the Hudson’s Detroit project, Paul discussed the firm’s 100-year history, its strong Detroit roots, and the projects and partnerships propelling it toward another century of success.
